NORFED ( National Organization for the Repeal of the Federal Reserve and Internal Revenue Code) was the organization founded by Bernard Von Nothaus, who was later arrested for producing the Liberty Dollar coins. This private mint was raided in 2008 by federal authorities for producing illegal money resembling and similar to United States coins. NORFED asserted that the federal reserve was unconstitutional and harmful. These collectible coins are highly sought after.
