This is an amazing and rare error coin. These commemorative coins were sold to raise money to fund the Confederate stone carvings at Stone Mountain Park in Georgia. This particular version is a double die obverse error coin. Meaning there are doubled up letters on the front of the coin.
The likeness of Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson are on the obverse and Eagle on reverse.
